Reboot DUO Daily?

If it is frequent, I recommend optimizing your router settings.

Can you check these 3 things in your router:

A. Check if the DUO IP is reserved in your router

Please dial *41 from your phone connected to the DUO, to get the DUO IP address.

B. Enable port forwarding on your router for your DUO IP

One of these are the ports you can use for port forwarding:

Internal & External Port 5085 TCP/UDP

Please note: some routers may only let you open one port per device IP, so pick one of the ports listed above.

These website will help you forward the correct ports on your specific router. There are a couple of things that do change but the overall method remains the same.

C. Find the DMZ setting in your router and add your DUO IP to the DMZ.

Check the DUOs Firmware

  1. Please dial *41 from your phone connected to the DUO, to get the DUO IP address.
  2. Enter the IP address into your Web Browser.
    a. For DUO Enter IP ex. 192.168.1.10
    b. For DUO II/WiFi Enter IP followed by "/admin" ex. "192.168.1.10/admin"


    - For the DUO the latest FW should be 3.25
    - For DUO II/WiFi the latest FW should be 4.74

    Please make sure your device has the latest firmware.
